Free One Dollar Just to Visit Website

0

Yes, you read it right. Just visit the website and you will receive a one dollar discount when you purchase food from Del Taco.

I visited Del Taco fast food near my home and ordered a combo meal consisting of two chicken soft tacos, small French fries, and small soft drink for $4.99 plus a sales tax of 8.1%, for a total of US$5.39. While waiting for my order, which took about 10 minutes or so, I read the Del Taco receipt. There was an offer which said the following:

FREE DEL TACO FOOD
Tell us about your visit and receive your CHOICE OF ONE of the following on your next visit to THIS Del Taco:

FREE GRILLED CHICKEN TACO (#102) with any purchase of $3 or more
OR
FREE ½ lb BEAN & CHEESE BURRITO (#103) with any purchase of $3 or more
OR
$1 OFF any purchase of $3 or more (#104)

2 EASY STEPS
Visit myvisit.deltaco.com within 72 hours and enter the following code: 362 280 000 120 011
Take the quick survey and write the validation code below:
____________________

I was curious about the above offer. So, I visited the www.myvisit.deltaco.com within 72 hours from my dine-in Del Taco purchase. The following questions were asked in the survey:
  • On this visit, did you dine-in, drive-thru, or go inside and place your order to-go?
  • Was this either your first visit to Del Taco, or your first visit in 6 months or more?
  • In the past 30 days, how frequently have you visited this Del Taco location?
  • In the past 30 days, how many times have you visited ANY fast food restaurant?
  • Overall, how satisfied were you with this visit to Del Taco?
  • How satisfied were you with the value you received for the money you paid?
  • How satisfied were you with the price competitiveness of your purchase?
  • Overall, how satisfied were you with your service experience during your visit?
  • Was your order correct?

After answering the survey questions, the following message and instructions were displayed on the web page:

Thank you for your feedback.
Please write the validation code in the space provided in your receipt and bring it with you for the next visit to this Del Taco restaurant:
021377910

So I copied the numbers 021377910 into my Del Taco receipt. There is a 60-day expiration date from the date of the receipt. That means, I can go to the same Del Taco location in about one week, two or three weeks, or even in 55 days and use the validation code to get discount for my next Del Taco order.

The visit to the Del Taco website to answer the survey did not ask for my personal information nor my email address. And I was happy for that because Del Taco is not gathering personal information.

If I order a Del Taco food for $3 and give my validation code, I will be given a one dollar ($1) discount, thus I will just pay $2 plus sales tax. A $1 discount from $3 purchase represents a 33% discount. You can imagine if you are three in the family that have different validation codes and receive a combine of $3 discounts.

So, if you purchase fast food from Del Taco, do not throw away the receipts. Visit the Del Taco website, answer the survey, receive a validation code, and you will receive discounts from your Del Taco purchases.

Happy Eating!

Google Adsense – How to Make More Money

0

Keyword Tool
Google Adsense, being promoted by Google, is one way to make more money by putting up to three (3) ads on every page of your blog article. To make more money, you should implement one method: choose high-ranking keywords in your blog title and in the first two paragraphs of your blog article.

How will you know that the words you selected are high-ranking keywords? Do the following steps:
  • Sign up with Google Adwords.
  • Click on Tools and Analysis, then on Keyword Planner Tool.
  • Click on Get Search Volume for a List of Keywords or Group Them into Ad Groups.
  • Type the words you want to use, either one word or group of words per line inside the box or a series of individual words or group of words in one line separated by a comma.

By following the above steps, I drafted the following titles for this blog:

1.  First Title: How to Increase Google Adsense Income

2.  Second Title: Google Adsense – How to Make More Money

When I typed each word on the search box, the average monthly search was displayed:

For the First Title
how – 550,000
to – 673,000
increase – 40,500
Google – 755,000,000
adsense – 1,830,000
income – 33,100

For the Second Title
Google – 755,000,000
adsense – 1,830,000
how – 550,000
to – 673,000
make – 135,000
more – 368,000
money – 823,000

Based on the average monthly search,I chose the second title: Google Adsense – How to Make More Money as the title for this blog. And then, I scattered some of the keywords in my first paragraph.

Of course, using high-ranking keywords is one of the methods being used in improving SEO (search engine optimization). Other methods are blog/website linkings, comments from readers, number of visits, age of blog/website (more than 6 months), and others.

If you want to create your own blog or website, you should use the free Google Keyword Planner Tool to make your blog or website friendly to various search engines. If your blog or website has so many web pages and visitors, there is a big chance that your visitors will click on your ads and visit ad sponsor's website. Come on, now. Start your own blog. Join and sign up with Blogger.com with no charge and obligations, and learn how to create a blog until you decide to design your free blog according to your ideas.

KFC Fast Food Coupons to Save Money

0

KFCFriedChicken
I love to eat KFC fried and grilled chicken. I usually visit the KFC fast food near my home 2 or 3 times a month.

Before I just wait for some unsolicited KFC coupons that arrived with my junk mail every Wednesday. Sometimes, there were no KFC coupons. When there were no KFC coupons, I just pay the full price of the meal plus a sales tax of 8.1%.

I was reading the Yahoo news on October 1, 2013 and there was a news article that KFC is offering a KFC Go Cup for US$2.49 plus sales tax. So, I visited the KFC website         (http://www.kfc.com) and find out the nutrition information on the KFC Go Cup.

By accident, I clicked on DEALS (http://www.kfc.com/deals) and what I have discovered – digital coupons that I can print using my printer. The web page asked me to enter my ZIP code (example: 94205) and one sheet showed me six (6) coupons as follows:

1.  $1 OFF – 2 pieces Original Recipe Boneless with 1 individual side (e.g. potato wedges, cole slaw, biscuit, macaroni salad, etc.) and 1 medium soft drink

2.  FREE Original Recipe Boneless piece with the purchase of an 8-piece meal or larger meal at the regular price

3.  FREE Lil' Bucket Kid's Meal with the purchase of an 8-piece meal or larger meal at the regular price

4.  $4.99 for 10-Piece Original Recipe Bites with individual potato wedges and 1 medium soft drink

5.  $0.50 Each – Add Hot Wings pieces to any bucket (limit 20) purchase

6.  $2.99 for 2-piece Grilled Chicken with 1 baked biscuit

The coupons have expiration date of 11/30/2013. When the coupons expired, I can visit the KFC website if I need some current KFC coupons before I go to the KFC fast food. In case I receive unsolicited KFC coupons from my junk mail, then I do not have to print the KFC digital coupons.

So, for every one dollar I save from each KFC coupon is an increase of money in my savings account.

If I combined my savings from my grocery coupons, borrowing free books and DVD movies from the public library, buying things from thrift stores, and maintaining my 1990 Dodge Stratus car in good running condition, then I can imagine the inflows of money to my savings account.

I want to share my financial experience with my readers. I am not a tightwad. I just want to minimize my expenses without depriving myself with some amenities in life.
